Georgioupoli Chania crete is built at the "Almiro Pass" on the ancient road between east and west Crete; the bridge of "Elleniki Kamara" still survives. Georgioupoli was built on the site of the ancient city of Amphimala and very close to Crete's unique lake, Lake Kourna.
