Monolithos : Monolithos is a resort near Kamari beach, 9klm from Fira, and close to the airport. It is a tranquil and rather family beach with a grayish sand but unfornately it is affected by stong winds. Monolithos beach also has umbrellas, sun beds, and a number of sport facilities like a footbal pitch, a basketball court, a  sea sports centre and a playground. Hotels, beach bars, and taverns are available for every taste.
