PERISSA :Perissa is one of Santorini well-known and best beaches located to the Southeastern end of the island.
What characterizes Perissa is the crystal-clear waters, the soft sandy beach and the fact that it is protected from the summer Aegean winds (called "Meltemia" in Greek) due to Profitis Ilias mountain, which breaks the Northern winds. After the touristic development, Perissa is almost connected to the nearby village of Emporio.
